The 2011 Overall Year Winners Awards

We are most grateful to Big Dog World for sponsoring Team Pasturegreen during 2011. Each Overall winner received from Big Dog World a Royal Canin Rack sack with Dog Toy (s), Dog Treats and Grooming spray (s).

The Winner also got a 17kg bag of Royal Canin Giant Adult for their Dog Sponsored by Pasturegreen along with the Team Pasturegreen 2011 Overall Winners Cup and Rosette. The Reserve Winner got the Team Pasturegreen 2011 Reserve Winners Cup and Rosette and 3rd to 6th place got a Special Team Pasturegreen Overall Winners Runners Up Rosette.

The 2011 Team Pasturegreen Winner was
Millie Brewer with 82 Points

The middle sister of the Brewer family, Millie took the 2011 Team Pasturegreen competition very seriously, maybe a tad too seriously at times? Hours before each event had started she'd sussed out which dog she wanted to use for which class and as the season went on her confidence grew and grew and her nerves subsided. Millie needs to learn to relax a little and enjoy herself more when competing and remember that her whole face lights up when she smiles. She has youth on her side and has a promising future in the ring.

The 2011 Team Pasturegreen Reserve was
Lucy Brewer with 77 Points

The oldest of the Brewer sisters, this girl could be a professional junior handler. She has the grace and confidence and stood out in every class she entered. With her slim body and long legs her stride easily matched the dog she was handling as she glided around the ring, winning handling competition after handling competition. Being stronger and more mature she managed to get the best out of each dog she handled during the season.

3rd - Sharon Rowley with 53 Points

A glowing example of what can happen when you have a go with your pet dog, well done Sharon for having a go at some dog events and what amazing results you got and that was without any hands on training.

4th - Becky Overy-Owen with 48 Points

Becky has all the grace and skill to do very well as a professional handler, at times her nerves got the better of her but when she was feeling relaxed, Beth and her worked as the perfect team with great success. Becky has a fantastic memory and is able to remember what she's been taught and put it to good use, just remember to relax and smile more.

5th - Darcy Brewer with 15 Points

What a sweetie, those big brown eyes won the hearts ofmany a judge this year and working as a team with our Amy, they were a hard act to follow.Darcy came into the competition later than her sisters this year for shewasn't confident enough to compete early on. Being only 5 she could only handle the very quietest of Bernese but she got the most out of our Amy who really doesn't want to do anything these days.

6th - Jade Cator with 12 Points

It was the first time that Jade had done any handling of a dog and very quickly become competitive and made the most of the only event she was able to attend in 2011. She was well and truely thrown in the deep end but she took it in good grace and showed considerable talent.
